When I was pregnant I remember being terrified by the horrific birth stories that I was told by ‘friends’ and colleagues. I know people love to tell everyone about their experience, and I’m no exception, but, exactly as you say, it can colour your relationship and memories of that experience.

I can’t imagine how scary and worrying the experince must have been for you and your family and friends, but it obviously hasn’t tainted your love for your baby boy and your happiness in family life.

I think it’s fantastic that you have taken this positive stance and what a beautiful memory and song to remind you of your baby’s birthday.
