The Gallery – Guilty Pleasure

This post is this weeks entry for The Gallery over at Sticky Fingers

The prompt this week is Guilty Pleasures. Oh goodness where do I start? You see I have many but I’m only going to share one on the proviso that it goes no further than here and is never mentioned in public

In our house we have “the library” , it sounds posh but what else do you call a large collection of books?

We have hundreds of books covering politics, travel, classics, biographies etc but hidden away on the bottom shelf is my guilty pleasure

Oh I am so jealous. As a little girl I told my Mum that if I could have anything in the world it would be my own library. I haven’t got it yet, and my daughter is shaping up to be the same as me. Never willing to let a book go. How lovely!

I have lots of bookshelves in my study, but it looks like it will soon not be sufficient anymore… I cannot stop buying books.
