2011 – A Review of The Year (part 1)
I’m a little late in doing this as it’s been a manic month but here is my review of 2011 on Knees Up Mother Brown!
January
At the start of 2011 I was 6.5 months pregnant and starting to experience problems. January consisted of posts relating to late pregnancy, about my stress at having to have a c-section, my worries of how it will affect Zara, my annoyance at being public property and my lack of preparation:
I’m stressing about a potential c-section
The youngest was the most loved
February
Now february is where things went a little crazy with Oscar arriving on Valentines day and being in NICU until early March. I still managed to blog though and here are a few that were posted:
Feel like I’m sitting on a time bomb - I didn’t know at the time that 4 days later he would arrive!
It’s all about new things (of course it wasn’t all about Oscar!)
March
March was about changes, I shared Oscar’s birth story and looked at the changes in the 10 years since the last census:
April
April was a quiet month on the blog, a couple of my favourite posts from the month were:
Baby development, by now your baby should be juggling whilst riding a unicycle
and
May
May saw me worrying about Oscar’s reflux and asking about breastfeeding etiquette:
Am I just another paranoid mum?
Should breastfeeding areas be female only?
June
June saw me speaking at Cybermummy and admitting my strange washday obsessions:
Cybermummy – the highs, lows and bits inbetween
Washday blues – my strange obsession
and I will leave you with that for now….part 2 covering July – Dec will be with you soon xxx
