MooSkins Personalised Phone Cover and Competition
108I’ve previously written about Mooskins personalised Iphone covers that I was lucky enough to review recently. They really are fantastic and I absolutely love mine. It also saved the day for me recently when I went to a soft play centre and left my Iphone on a table. A fellow parent tracked me down and gave it me back thank goodness after she managed to identify Zara and Oscar from my Mooskins cover – how lucky was that?

Fab isn't it!
The lovely Tom from Mooskins has very kindly agreed to put forward a prize of £20 to spend at Mooskins for one of you lucky readers
That’s enough for you to get your own personalised phone cover for an Iphone 3, Iphone 4 or a Blackberry 8250!

Mama Jewels
0It’s no secret that I’m a huge fan of Mama Jewels and I did a review for them back in July here. Just because I love them so much I’ve decided to feature them in my christmas gift guide as I think they would make a lovely gift for any mums out there
The necklace I’ve chosen to feature is the Audrey Necklace.

Audrey sells for £19.95 and is a gorgeous long necklace using gold or silver beads to create a chain like appearance, with a dark smoky grey pendant finished with bronze or silver thread thread and Macrame knotting. It comes packaged in a lovely Mama Jewels gift box and tag.
Each necklace is strength tested to 90N to prevent breakage and all components are non toxic for when baby chews them, washable and can be steam sterilised. Perfect for the mum who has a pulling, teething baby
What new mum wouldn’t love to find one of these in her Christmas stocking?

Friday Photo Time
2Kara at Innocent Charms Chats has started a weekly photo drop called #fridayphototime.

NameArt – #Addict Mug and Competition
224I’ve previously written about personalised canvases I have had from NameArt and I’m a huge fan of her work! When it comes to finding a Christmas stocking filler however, she has the perfect gift for the many of us addicted to social media. In fact it is such a great product that the likes of Theo Paphitis, Sarah Brown and Kirstie Allsopp have all got one! I am of course talking about the #Addict mug!
The bird created using twitter-like colours, is cleverly made out of the word ‘addict’. The image is on both sides of the mug. And for that personal touch enter the twitter name you require on the mug. I’d be very happy to find one of these in my stocking on Christmas morning
The mugs sell at £10 on the NameArt website.

The perfect gift for a twitter addict
The lovely Charis has very kindly agreed to offer one of her #Addict mugs as a competition prize for one of you lovely readers and here is how you can enter

P’Kolino Silly Softs
1Gander Kids contacted me to ask if Zara would like to review a Silly Soft by P’Kolino.
The Silly Soft Seating is comprised of three soft, sturdy, light weight pieces that can be configured in a myriad of ways; from seats of varying heights to tiny tables. These many variations, and the capacity for children to do the configuring, are great for their creativity and gross motor development.
With no hard surfaces, sharp edges or loose pieces they are also safe for those early developmental stages when toddlers really toddle. So, climb on it, sit on it or drool on it; the snugly fabric is durable, removable and washable.
There are 5 different coloured Silly Softs to choose from, Kiko (Red), Pipa (Blue), Iggy (Yellow), Tias (Green) and Lila (Purple). Zara was sent Pipa the blue one and I think it was love at first sight! We’ve been having issues in the household recently with Zara wanting to sit everywhere I want to put Oscar but now Zara has her very own seat
Although it’s also become a tower, a bed for her toys, a cushion for her feet, in fact she has been pretty clever in finding uses for it
The Silly Soft’s retail at £39.99 each and we think they are fab. You can check out where to buy them on the website here
Find Me A Gift – Annoying Monsters
2Find Me A Gift recently contacted me and asked me if I would like to receive a gift to review for them. I, of course was delighted to accept and chose to receive an Annoying Monsters, Infuriating Igor.
“Look out earth, here come the Annoying Monsters! Now rumour has it that these plushie monster toys were booted off their home planet Boggus, because of their amusingly annoying antics! Yes, these aliens are fabulously funny toys that will entertain kids with an array of awesomely irritating sounds!
Check out Infuriating Igor. This red and black interactive toy is a quiet fellow; in fact he only repeats what you say. Yes this plush interactive toy will eat up your words and throw them back out you with a high squeaky voice – how annoying is that?! Ha, if that wasn’t enough to feed your irksome tendencies then touch the sensor buttons to hear him burp, fart, giggle and shake with glee too! Ah-ha, good old Igor loves nothing better than being utterly infuriating! So if why not keep kids amused with these fantastic alien plush toys – they really are from another planet!”
Now these toys are for Age 3+ and as you are aware Zara is only 2 but we only let her play with it under our supervision as we feel she is mature enough to play with it. It is of course up to each individual parent on whether they feel a toy is appropriate for their child and to pay attention to age recommendations.
Zara finds this toys extremely funny and will sit for ages laughing at it, Igor now sits with us most evenings before bed and I admit I often get it to repeat “Zara, it’s time for bed!”
Perhaps the best way to show you just how annoying/funny the annoying monster is, is to show you a wee video I’ve done.
There are 5 different Annoying Monsters that you can choose from and they sell for £19.99 on the Find Me a Gift Website
Stokke Tripp Trapp, A Chair for Life Part 2
3Way back in March when Oscar was only around 6 weeks old, I reviewed the Stokke Newborn Set and there are some products that are so good they deserve a follow up review post, and this is how I feel about the Stokke Tripp Trapp and Newborn Set!
Since the day we received the Newborn Set it has been used every single day from when Oscar arrived home from hospital weighing just under 6lb to when he was a strapping 6 month old baby weighing around 20lb! Mealtimes for us are family times when we all sit around the table, chat about our days and eat together. This didn’t change when Zara arrived on the scene and when Oscar arrived, the Newborn Set made mealtimes a thousand times easier. Oscar has loved sitting with us during mealtimes and having him sat near us when cooking, etc has been a real boost. Zara has also loved having her little brother nearby although we have had to watch out for the occasional carrot or spoonful of yoghurt being thrown at him
My main concern when I originally saw the Newborn Set all those months ago was the size. I remember looking it and thinking it would never last him until we were ready for weaning but it has proved me wrong. Although premature, Oscar didn’t stay a tiny baby for long and soon outgrew most other babies his age but the Newborn Set has coped with his growth spurts and we have only now retired it as he has reached 6 months and is ready for weaning.
Stokke very kindly sent us a Baby Set for Oscar to move up into as we have started weaning and Oscar absolutely loved his new seat
Although it did cause a bit of trouble in the household as Zara then proclaimed this to be “Zara’s chair”…sigh.. however the ever so lovely people at Stokke saved the day once more by sending Zara her very own Tripp Trapp so now the tiny terrors have a Tripp Trapp of their own and peace has been restored in the Brown household once more
Mealtimes are now even more of a family affair with Oscar joining us all in eating, the Tripp Trapps enable Zara and Oscar to sit together and the bond between them is beautiful to watch…
Zara at 22 months sits on the Tripp Trapp with no harness or baby set, she is capable of climbing on and off it by herself and will sit nicely at mealtimes although we do make sure someone is nearby at all times just in case. Oscar sits in the baby set and can easily reach the table and his food from it. Another huge bonus with the Tripp Trapps is that they are SO SO easy to clean compared to other highchairs with all their nooks and crannys to trap food in. With the Tripp Trapps I just wipe them down at the end of a meal, brush the floor and it’s all done
And yes for those of you who’ve noticed that our table doesn’t match the Tripp Trapps, that is because we hate the table and it will be replaced shortly with one that matches our floor and the Tripp Trapps
Of course you can get the Tripp Trapp in pretty much any colour you like so for those of you who are more adventurous you will be spoilt for choice!
We absolutely love our Tripp Trapp chairs and they really will last us for years and not be relegated to the scrap heap like our old plastic highchair has been. They are practical and elegant and something I’m proud to have in my kitchen
PS. Apologies for the photos and there being stuff everywhere but in a household like ours the kitchen is rarely looking like a show home lol but that’s just how we like it

Zara is...
