NameArt – #Addict Mug and Competition
224I’ve previously written about personalised canvases I have had from NameArt and I’m a huge fan of her work! When it comes to finding a Christmas stocking filler however, she has the perfect gift for the many of us addicted to social media. In fact it is such a great product that the likes of Theo Paphitis, Sarah Brown and Kirstie Allsopp have all got one! I am of course talking about the #Addict mug!
The bird created using twitter-like colours, is cleverly made out of the word ‘addict’. The image is on both sides of the mug. And for that personal touch enter the twitter name you require on the mug. I’d be very happy to find one of these in my stocking on Christmas morning
The mugs sell at £10 on the NameArt website.

The perfect gift for a twitter addict

P’Kolino Silly Softs
1Gander Kids contacted me to ask if Zara would like to review a Silly Soft by P’Kolino.
The Silly Soft Seating is comprised of three soft, sturdy, light weight pieces that can be configured in a myriad of ways; from seats of varying heights to tiny tables. These many variations, and the capacity for children to do the configuring, are great for their creativity and gross motor development.
With no hard surfaces, sharp edges or loose pieces they are also safe for those early developmental stages when toddlers really toddle. So, climb on it, sit on it or drool on it; the snugly fabric is durable, removable and washable.
There are 5 different coloured Silly Softs to choose from, Kiko (Red), Pipa (Blue), Iggy (Yellow), Tias (Green) and Lila (Purple). Zara was sent Pipa the blue one and I think it was love at first sight! We’ve been having issues in the household recently with Zara wanting to sit everywhere I want to put Oscar but now Zara has her very own seat
Although it’s also become a tower, a bed for her toys, a cushion for her feet, in fact she has been pretty clever in finding uses for it
The Silly Soft’s retail at £39.99 each and we think they are fab. You can check out where to buy them on the website here
Find Me A Gift – Annoying Monsters
2Find Me A Gift recently contacted me and asked me if I would like to receive a gift to review for them. I, of course was delighted to accept and chose to receive an Annoying Monsters, Infuriating Igor.
“Look out earth, here come the Annoying Monsters! Now rumour has it that these plushie monster toys were booted off their home planet Boggus, because of their amusingly annoying antics! Yes, these aliens are fabulously funny toys that will entertain kids with an array of awesomely irritating sounds!
Check out Infuriating Igor. This red and black interactive toy is a quiet fellow; in fact he only repeats what you say. Yes this plush interactive toy will eat up your words and throw them back out you with a high squeaky voice – how annoying is that?! Ha, if that wasn’t enough to feed your irksome tendencies then touch the sensor buttons to hear him burp, fart, giggle and shake with glee too! Ah-ha, good old Igor loves nothing better than being utterly infuriating! So if why not keep kids amused with these fantastic alien plush toys – they really are from another planet!”
Now these toys are for Age 3+ and as you are aware Zara is only 2 but we only let her play with it under our supervision as we feel she is mature enough to play with it. It is of course up to each individual parent on whether they feel a toy is appropriate for their child and to pay attention to age recommendations.
Zara finds this toys extremely funny and will sit for ages laughing at it, Igor now sits with us most evenings before bed and I admit I often get it to repeat “Zara, it’s time for bed!”
Perhaps the best way to show you just how annoying/funny the annoying monster is, is to show you a wee video I’ve done.
There are 5 different Annoying Monsters that you can choose from and they sell for £19.99 on the Find Me a Gift Website
